My Private Library with a Catalog that YOU Can Access!
I’m preparing to start a private, personal, lending library in our area. Yes, that’s right! We own enough books to do just that. I’m just starting the process of cataloging a lifetime’s collection of books. I’ll never finish, because I can’t quit buying books. To say I’m a book-a-holic is an understatement. There are worse things…so I’m okay with it!
I’ve currently filled up one tiny house with bookshelves full of books (in addition to what is in the main house) and still have boxes and boxes to go through. Some are old, out-of-print books; some are classics; some are living books I used during my homeschooling years; some are books I have used for research as I wrote and designed curriculum or prepared to teach in the classroom.
As I catalog, I’m trying to put the books in categories, rate them, and, as I can, write reviews for them. This will take some time. For now, you can see what is in my library, and perhaps, that will be of help to you to see how I may have rated a book.
